Le sue importazioni provengono da diversi paesi, con un focus su beni di consumo, macchinari, prodotti chimici e alimentari.\u00a0Il Paese registra costantemente un deficit commerciale ($15 miliardi nel 2024), Tuttavia, l\u2019economia \u00e8 sostenuta dai servizi di logistica, finanza e turismo che compensano tale deficit.<br \/>\nSu un totale di 30 miliardi di dollari di import, il principale paese fornitore \u00e8 la Cina con 4,5 miliardi di dollari, seguito da Stati Uniti (3,8 miliardi $), Messico (1,5 miliardi $), Costarica (1miliardo $) e Colombia (900 milioni $).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Principali prodotti importati:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Combustibili e petrolio raffinato (25%) <\/strong>da USA, Colombia ed Ecuador<\/li>\n<li><strong>Macchinari ed elettronica (18%) <\/strong>da Cina e USA<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prodotti farmaceutici (10%) <\/strong>da USA, India e Germania<\/li>\n<li><strong>Veicoli e parti automobilistiche (8%) <\/strong>da Giappone, USA e Messico<\/li>\n<li><strong>Plastiche e prodotti chimici (7%) <\/strong>da USA, Messico e Cina<\/li>\n<li><strong>Alimenti e bevande (12%) <\/strong>da Costa Rica, USA e Brasile<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Il mercato degli Stati Uniti continua a essere la principale destinazione delle esportazioni panamensi, con il 17% delle esportazioni. Gli Stati Uniti hanno rappresentato sempre il principale sbocco dell\u2019export riaffermando la stabilit\u00e0 e la fiducia di questo mercato nei prodotti originari di Panama.<\/p>\n<p>Altri importanti mercati di sbocco sono Taiwan, Paesi Bassi e, negli ultimi anni la Cina: ci\u00f2 riflette la diversificazione dei mercati di esportazione di Panama, con una crescita significativa in Asia.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Crescita record dell\u2019export nel gennaio 2025<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Panama ha iniziato il 2025 con una crescita significativa delle esportazioni registrate, raggiungendo un totale di 76,9 milioni di dollari nel primo mese, con un aumento di 14 milioni di dollari (22,3%) rispetto a gennaio 2024, quando le esportazioni registrate ammontavano a 62,9 milioni di dollari. <em>\u201cQuesta crescita \u00e8 la pi\u00f9 significativa registrata nel periodo compreso tra il 2010 e il 2025, il che sottolinea il buon andamento dell&#8217;economia panamense nel suo commercio internazionale&#8221;<\/em>, ha sottolineato il ministro del Commercio e dell&#8217;Industria, Julio Molt\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>In termini di prodotti, le banane rimangono il principale motore delle esportazioni panamensi, rappresentando circa il 18% del export. I gamberetti surgelati si sono classificati al secondo posto, rappresentando oltre il 13% del totale, consolidando la loro posizione come altro prodotto molto richiesto nei mercati internazionali. Seguono prodotti come i farmaci antistaminici e antipiretici (4,6%), il teak grezzo (4,5%) e l&#8217;olio di palma grezzo (4,4%). Tra le altre voci tariffarie rilevanti rientrano i rifiuti di ferro e acciaio (4,2%), il cemento Portland, che per la prima volta rientra tra i principali prodotti esportati con il 2,6%, i rifiuti e i rottami di alluminio (2,4%), il tonno pinna gialla (2,3%) e la farina di pesce (2,2%). Insieme, queste 10 voci tariffarie rappresentano circa il 60% delle esportazioni totali panamensi.<\/p>\n<h6><strong>Interscambio con l\u2019Italia<\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>L\u2019interscambio con l\u2019Italia ha fatto registrare nell\u2019ultimo quinquennio una crescita costante con un saldo commerciale attivo a favore del nostro paese (lo scorso anno di 394 milioni di euro). Il nostro export \u00e8 quasi triplicato, passando dai 162 milioni di euro registrati nel 2020 ai 440 milioni di euro del 2024. Nel 2024 la principale voce dell\u2019export \u00e8 stata la gioielleria con oltre il 40% del totale (190 milioni di euro). Seguono i medicinali e i preparati farmaceutici (33 milioni euro), le imbarcazioni (25 milioni di euro), i profumi e i cosmetici (15 milioni di euro), i mobili (14 milioni di euro), le bevande (11 milioni di euro) e l&#8217;abbigliamento (9 milioni di euro).<\/p>\n<p>Anche le importazioni da Panama &#8211; seppure molto pi\u00f9 contenute &#8211; hanno avuto un andamento positivo, raggiungendo i 46 milioni di euro lo scorso anno.
